REF at Cambridge

The University of Cambridge is one of the world's leading research universities, and owes that position to the quality, commitment and ability of its staff. Our aim for REF is to re-affirm this leading position, and to demonstrate excellence in our research in each Unit of Assessment to which we submit. This national research assessment exercise also determines a very significant source of our income. As a result of REF, the University receives over £100m of QR funding each year for the research infrastructure from which we all benefit.
